INTRODUCTION

I help ambitious individuals and companies to find the success, wellbeing, and joy they deserve, using breathwork and mindfulness coaching. I work with individuals and businesses in London and remote coach internationally.

Using a combination of ancient wisdoms and modern research-backed methods, I can help you reach your company or individual goals - whether that’s to improve wellbeing and retention of employees, or simply to find more energy, serenity, and creativity in each day.

BEGINNINGS

House of Mind was founded by Emily Thomas.

Emily came to contemplative practices for very practical means - to regain a sense of feeling well and human, whilst over-working, and getting lost among unhealthy standards and expectations in a competitive system. Ashtanga yoga and mindfulness provided a backbone for recovering from burnout and fatigue, and building a life that had wellbeing as a foundation, rather than societal expectations.

Before creating House of Mind, Emily spent 5 years researching mindfulness, exploring methods of enhancing accessibility to the practice, and finally gaining a PhD from UCL on the topic. She is a keen believer in research-backed methods, and looks forward to bringing them to your office, home, or community space.

Many years later, having had the opportunity to train with much anticipated teachers of different contemplative disciplines, Emily brings together her theoretical understanding of psychology and neuroscience, research into human behaviour and contemplation, experiential breathwork, yogic and mindfulness training and instruction, as well as lived experience of finding the hard edges in life, to create spaces for compassionate yet powerful change.
